AINOKURA

In the remote hills of the Gokoyama region of Japan, lies the world heritage site and village, Ainokura. The historic gassho-style houses are one-of-a-kind. Our host, Kuni, welcomed us into his multi-generational home where he prepared vegan meals made of locally grown and foraged foods while sharing his village history and traditions.
